About Baars Brewing
We are two brothers, Carl and Will Baar, living in two different cities that want to share our adventures and misadventures with brewing beer. We started brewing together after Carl graduated college and was looking for a design job post crash of 2008. With nowhere to go and nothing to do we invested in a brewing and recipe kit which set us off on a hobby we wouldn't be able to escape. Now we live in Chicago and Peoria respectively, we still brew and talk about brewing together but do so mostly separately given the distance between us. We want to share what we are doing and what we have learned, so enjoy!
